TIRANA, Feb 21 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama, in a media briefing on Wednesday, when pressed about the “Mc Gonigal” case, cited the official documents in the USA.
In a media briefing from the SP headquarters, after the online meeting of the SP Assembly, when pressed about the “McGonigal” case, Rama said that, “in my statements on this matter, I made reference to what was said in the official documents in the USA, because I had neither connection nor knowledge about what the US institutions have officially published”.
Rama said that he had met the former FBI official, Charles McGonigal, and would meet him yet again if the time flew backwards.
“I have met him and I would meet him if time went in reverse direction, because in my meetings I am the Prime Minister of Albania and I deem that whenever a meeting is requested by US, European or allied countries officials, I will always be available.”
