TIRANA, February 12/ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama shared today a view of the Vjosa River, which was declared a National Park on March 15, 2023.
“Vjosa National Park, a painting of nature together with the peak of Nemërçka”, wrote Rama.
Located between rugged mountains and coastal plains, the Vjosa River has been designated a protected area, protecting its pristine ecosystems and securing its place as a natural treasure.
Stretching from Mount Gramoz to the Ionian Sea, the river creates an important habitat for a diverse range of flora and fauna. Its crystal clear and fresh waters provide a haven for various species of fish, aquatic plants and a host of bird species that depend on its undisturbed flow.
What sets the Vjosa River apart is its untouched and unchanged state.
The Vjosa continues to attract many tourists, nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers, who are attracted by its pristine landscapes, offering a unique experience./k.s/p.s./
