TIRANA, February 12/ATA/ Opera and Ballet House has prepared a special programme on occasion of Saint Valentine’s Day. The House has launched a media campaign even in the social media addressed especially to the young people suggesting for them to have a date in the opera.
“If you have not yet invited the girlfriend or boyfriend for a date in the opera house, this is an ideal occasion”, wrote the Opera House in the social media.
On Saint Valentine’s Day, the Opera House will put on stage “Puccini in Love”, a whole evening dedicated to love and passion, with arias and duets from the grand operas of the greatest love stories.
On February 14, there will be performed arias and duets from “Tosca”, “Turandot”, “La Boheme”, “Manon Lescaut”, “Madame Butterfly”, “Il Tabarro”, “Suor Angelica”, “Gianni Schicchi” and “Le Villi”. All are pieces written by one of the most successful composers in Italy and world scale, Giacomo Puccini. He dies 100 years ago and many of the most important houses of the world have dedicated this year to his work./r.e/p.s./
