TIRANA, January 20 /ATA/ In more than 400 nine-grade schools in the country, there is being implemented the coding project, a pilot initiative that acquaints the children with the logic of coding through educational games from the first steps of their formation.
Prime Minister Edi Rama shared today moments from holding of the coding subject in schools, where first grade children learn to code with the CodeMonkey platform.
Rama emphasized that coding in schools is implemented in the first grade in 306 public and 40 private educational institutions, as well as in the second grade in 100 schools throughout Albania, equipped with new laboratories in modern conditions.
Coding in schools has started to be implemented in 2022. The teachers who teach the subject are regularly trained to be up-to-date with the special didactic methods that this subject requires. /m.m/p.s./
