TIRANA, December 21/ATA/ Albania is experiencing in 2023 the best historical year in terms of tourism.
According to INSTAT data, during the 11-month period of the current year 9.5 million foreign citizens entered the country, with an increase of 33.2% compared to the same period last year.
According to INSTAT, the arrivals of Albanian and foreign citizens in the Albanian territory, in the month of November 2023, are 1,099,343.
This indicator results in a 35.9% increase compared to November 2022.
In November 2023, the region with the highest number of foreign nationals entering Albania is the European region with 525,182 citizens, followed by America and East Asia/Pacific, respectively with 14,100 and 3,577 citizens./p.s./
