TIRANA, December 20/ATA/ Head of the Special Prosecution against Corruption and Organized Crime said that political rhetoric has no influence on SPAK.
At the round table organized today morning by the Center for the Study of Democracy and Governance, Dumani said that he is totally immune and has no influence from political rhetoric or media statements. Dumani added that he tries to convey this to other prosecutors of the special anti-corruption structure.
However, he added that political or media rhetoric can serve the investigation in some cases.
“We are rather attentive to the political or media rhetoric when there are dealt issues related to the investigation or problems with the institution that I lea; we listen and evaluate them with attention”, added Dumani.
Asked by the journalists at the end of the activity on what measure SPAK will ask for ex-premier Sali Berisha, who is under investigation for the privatization of the former “Partizani” sports complex, Head of SPAK Altin Dumani said that it is up to the prosecutors of the case./p.s./
