TIRANA, Dec 11 /ATA/ – U.S. Chargé d’Affaires David Wisner met the newly appointed European Union Ambassador to Albania, Silvio Gonzato, at the U.S. Embassy in Tirana on Monday.
Wisner and Gonzato reaffirmed the importance of the strong partnership between the United States and the European Union in support of Albania’s path towards full EU membership.
The two also focused on the ongoing progress in justice reform, law enforcement cooperation, and business and defence ties.
