TIRANA, November 22 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama stated today that we should help Kosovo to accelerate its integration into the NATO.
In a joint press conference with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, Rama thanked the President of Croatia who has repeatedly echoed this opinion at all NATO tables and without doubt having the absolute conviction that it is absurd for Kosovo to be hindered in this process.
Meanwhile, continued Rama, all together in the NATO, we are not only attentive, but also engaged in Kosovo.
According to the prime minister, the Euro-Atlantic direction of Kosovo is beyond any kind of discussion.
“While the reluctance to recognize Kosovo from European Union countries and NATO countries is an echo of a past that is always less relevant compared to the present that brings new challenges and requires more unity and more strategic view”, said Rama./k.s/p.s./
