Rama arrives at Paris Peace Forum

TIRANA, November 10 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama arrived today in France to participate in the 6th edition of the Paris Peace Forum.

This forum brings together world leaders to discuss on current hot issues, among which peace in the Middle East and the conflict in the Gaza Strip.

Rama announced his participation in the forum a few days ago in a reaction to the conflict in Gaza where he supported US President Biden’s call for a humanitarian ceasefire.

In a statement yesterday on the eve of the 2023 Paris Peace Forum, Rama announced that he will join other world leaders in Paris to discuss ways to help the civilian population and hopefully the conflict in Gaza ends.

“As a member of the UN Security Council, but even as a peaceful and peace-loving multi-religious country, Albania is extremely concerned about the ongoing conflict and prolonged suffering in Gaza,” said PM Rama.

The prime minister reiterated that Albania stands by Israel and against Hamas./p.s./
