Karçanaj: Albania, fully digital in 2030 through Artificial Intelligence

TIRANA, October 31/ATA/ Albania will soon start the widespread use of Artificial Intelligence, bringing a fundamental change in our lives.

Director of the National Agency of the Information Society Linda Karçanaj participated in the Tech Accelerator Programme-2023, organized by the “Tony Blair” Institute for Global Change in Brussels, where she presented the plan for a fully digital Albania in 2030.

“The new technology will enable proactive services, voice assistance for any public service and ease of application. But, not only that. Through artificial intelligence, there will be increased transparency in public procurements, in the tax sector, in public administration”, wrote Karçanaj in a post in the social media.

Karçanaj said that, “The Tech Accelerator Programme-2023 was a chance to get acquainted with the latest developments in technology, but also with the successful experiences of using Artificial Intelligence in the service of people. We are ready for e-Albania 2.0 and proactive services with Artificial Intelligence”.

The unique multi-functional government portal e-Albania.al is administered and developed by the National Agency for Information Society; it serves as a gateway through which any interested person can receive electronic services provided by public institutions in Albania via the Internet.

The e-Albania platform offers about 1231 electronic services or 95% of all state public services./k.s/r.e/p.s./
