TIRANA, Oct 25 /ATA/ – Albanian Parliament Speaker Lindita Nikolla, on a visit to the United States of America, met with the U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State and Special Envoy for the Western Balkans Gabriel Escobar on Wednesday.

During the meeting, the two interlocutors discussed progress of democratizing and integrating reforms and Parliament support to take these reform efforts forward.

“The Albanian-U.S. relations are better than ever before. The strategic partnership has been materialized in the excellent cooperation in the UN Security Council and will further strengthen in the UN Human Rights Council.
