TIRANA, October 21 /ATA/ Interior Minister Taulant Balla stated today that in context of the “Temple” police operation there were arrested and penally prosecuted 417 people.
In a post in social media, Balla said that, “These people have been arrested and prosecuted for the production and distribution of various narcotic substances”.
“Every day, near every school and in public areas, the State Police is vigilant, chasing and arresting criminals/distributors of narcotic and psychotropic substances. The national operation “Temple” has been intensively carried out in the entire country, making possible the arrest/criminal proceedings of 417 people for the production and distribution of various narcotic substances, various narcotics”, wrote Balla.
According to the statistics published by Balla, the police has seized 3.7 kg of cocaine, 631 kg of cannabis sativa, 50 kg of synthetic drugs, 37 vehicles while there were searched 398 apartments. /k.s/p.s./
