Rama: Albania, an active factor of peace and regional stability

TIRANA, October 12/ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama stated in the Assembly that present-day Albania is an active factor in regional peace and stability and its position has been promoted into a new height in the region.

According to him, the international community is seeing more and more Albania with respect.

“Two days ago, Albania was elected to the UN Human Rights Council among only 15 countries in the world”, said Rama further during the debate motion in the Assembly.

Rama also emphasized that today Albania is asked to host important summits of the international community here in Albania, things that were unimaginable a few years ago.

“This happens only because we have promoted Albania into a new level, our foreign policy to a new stage and the position of our state in the region to a new peak”, he emphasized.

“Until yesterday, Albania was a passive factor in peace and stability, while today it is an active factor in regional peace and stability, and this is seen with more and more respect by the international community. We don’t even do this to look good in the eyes of the international community, but we do it for ourselves in the first place, for Albania and the entire Albanian nation”, he emphasized./p.s./
