TIRANA, September 23/ATA/ Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Anila Denaj announced that agricultural exports increased by 17.5% during the 8th month of this year compared to the same period last year.
According to Denaj, they reached a value of 38.44 billion ALL, from 32.73 billion ALL in the 8th month period of 2022.
In addition to investments in irrigation and drainage works, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has supported farmers with funding to reduce production costs through the National Scheme.
“The progress and continuous growth of exports is a clear reflection of the people working in agriculture and the success of the government’s policies for the sector, which bring us closer to the objective of 1 billion USD in agricultural exports by 2030,” said Minister Denaj ./p.s./
