TIRANA, September 23/ATA/ Minister of the Interior Taulant Balla stated today that, “While the self-cleaning process of the State Police is underway with intensity, another police officer has been arrested in the Border Police of Durrës for a serious violation”.
In a reaction on social networks, Balla said that, “The strengthening of cooperation with SPAK, general jurisdiction prosecutors, State Intelligence Service and other law enforcement agencies in the process of self-cleaning of the State Police is necessary”.
“Investigations into suspected of misuse of duty, corruption, criminal offenses in the field of narcotics, arbitrary actions, connections/communications with crime, as well as every other illegal actions, will enable us to properly clean up and the full trust of the citizens in the State Police”, said Balla.
