TIRANA, September 18/ATA/ Minister of Education and Sports Ogerta Manastirliu presented the strategic priorities to improve the quality in education and support for sports during a meeting held today with the staff of the Ministry of Education and Sports.
Minister Manastirliu focused on promotion of vocational education and internationalization of universities, as one of the main objectives to respond to the economy and developments of the time.
Manastirliu also spoke about support through salary increases and further training for all teachers.
“We will promote the role and figure of the teacher and support them with further training and salary increases. The salary increase will be an absolute priority”, said Manastirliu.
During presentation of the priorities, Manastirliu focused on the expansion of interactive platforms through digitization and innovation or even artificial intelligence.
Manastirliu also spoke about support for sports for every discipline, as well as the promotion of sports championships in schools.
The minister also spoke about the launch of a wide consultation tour with teachers, students and parents in the country’s schools, as a platform of dialogue, to include in open conversations the parents-teachers-student trinomial, in order to improve the system education in the country./k.s/p.s./
