TIRANA, September 12/ATA/ The new Minister of Health and Social Protection Albana Koçiu stated today that, “I am aware of the challenges we face and the commitment we must show, all together, therefore with your support I am confident that we will continue with the great changes in this vital sector for the citizens”.
In a post on social media, Koçiu wrote that, “With great gratitude and responsibility, I am honored to accept the position of Minister of Health and Social Protection. I want to express my most sincere thanks to Prime Minister Edi Rama, the Assembly of the Republic of Albania and to all those who trusted in me to serve the country in this important job”.
“Also, I want to appreciate the extraordinary work of my colleague, the outgoing minister Ogerta Manastirliu, and the dedicated professionals who have served this ministry before me,” said Koçiu.
Minister Koçiu wrote that, “Health and social protection will continue to be the main focus of this government, which has paved the path of transformation in the course of all these years. All this, with the sole aim of meeting the needs of every Albanian family for these essential services”.
Albana Koçiu was sworn in today in the President’s Office before the President of the Republic Bajram Begaj as Minister of Health and Social Welfare. /k.s/r.e/p.s./
