TIRANA, Sept 5 /ATA/ During the period January-July of this year, the local government collected 17.2 billion ALL in general revenues.
Local government revenues consist of three main items: property tax, small business tax and local taxes.
Revenues in local tax collections during the 7 months of 2023 are reckoned at 13.4 billion ALL, from the 14.4 billion ALL collected during the 7 months of 2022.
According to the report on fiscal indicators published by the Ministry of Finance and Economy, the income from property tax is reckoned at 3.7 billion ALL, from 4.1 billion ALL collected in the 7 month period of 2022.
Revenues in the small business tax collections amounted to 36 million ALL, from 44 million ALL collected in 2022.
Meanwhile, the government plans that during 2023 the revenues collected by local government will reach 29.1 billion ALL.
