Rama: Switching over to a completely technological procurement system within this term

TIRANA, Sept 4 /ATA/ The Prime Minister, also the chairman of the Socialist Party, Edi Rama, stated on Monday in his address to the National Assembly of the SP that, “we have so much work to do and we need so much commitment in every direction, so much focus on the challenges facing the country and the Socialist Party at this strategic crossroads of our 2030 road,” said Rama.
Therefore, Rama added, “we need to focus and interact much more at every level, because this story of scandal mongers is only a part and fortunately not the biggest part of the problem, but it is also the story of speed, the story of competence, the story of all the energy that must be made available, at every level to deepen the reform, to improve governance, central government and local government, to empower and expand our political community, beyond the party because we have repeated it 1000 times, our party is less than 100,000 people, our voters are approaching 1 million and we must see this community of voters as our community, not just as the second row of countless supporters,” Rama said.

“We live in troubled times. Europe is not at war by itself, but is committed to the whole, is committed to addressing all the problems associated with it so that international law rather than the injustice of a brutal aggression against the territory of a sovereign state triumphs in the war in Ukraine. The EU is in a complicated phase, full of new opportunities, but also full of risks, and here the most important thing for us is that the EU is in a process of positive reflection towards our region, for which we have played, we are playing and we will play our very active role,” said Rama.

“The region is at a new crossroads with the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue at another dead end, with the unstable situation in Montenegro and North Macedonia that is in a dramatic situation amid the strategic necessity to pass the test of constitutional changes in operation to continue the negotiations for accession in the European Union and the tactical populism that blindly threatens the European progress of the neighboring country. ”

“Albania is today in its best position ever, in Europe and in the region, but it must maintain momentum, strengthen itself internally, taking other steps, big steps forward, with a much more stronger sense of national pride in facing the new challenges of development, with a greater collective awareness of the difficult changes that must be made today, in several directions”, said Rama.
“We must show a much higher level of readiness today to accelerate the integration of digital technology in the functioning of the entire Albanian state. We have done very important things, but the world… Digital technology is the greatest blessing that time has given to developing countries like us, because it gives us unimaginable opportunities to catch up with the world of developed countries.”
