TIRANA, Aug 28 /ATA/ – A total of 816 nurses and professionals of Medical Technical Sciences have been hired via Nurses for Albania portal and have joined Albania’s public health system in 2023.
The Minister of Health and Social Protection Ogerta Manastirliu said in a post on the social media on Monday that 816 nurses have been hired this year under a merit-based system at various hospitals and health care centres to deliver best care service to patients and communities across Albania.
“More than 2500 nurses and medical technical sciences professionals have applied under the latest call for applications via Nurses for Albania portal,” Health Minister said.
The online “Nurses for Albania” platform, launched by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, offers real employment opportunities for all nurses upon their higher education graduation or after their qualification in this field to contribute to the community’s health.
This platform guarantees a recruitment process guided by the principles of transparency, merit, professionalism and equality in order to provide a quality nursing service at all three levels of health care.
