TIRANA, Aug 26 /ATA/ Minister of Tourism and Environment, Mirela Kumbaro, announced on Saturday that all institutions are committed to responding to any emergency all over the country during this summer season.
According to her, one of the main objectives is to guarantee security for every tourist.
“Safe tourism was one of the objectives but also the challenges of this season that we expected to be intensive, maybe not as much as it is unfolding,” said Kumbaro.
She pointed out that thanks to non-stop coordination amond all public authorities and the standby of all healthcare bodies, and not only, everywhere in the territory, Albania is offering vacationers not only the beautiful, unexplored destination but also medical care through a dedicated health service.
“From the pregnant Spanish lady in Theth, who was safely transported by helicopter under supervision, to the Polish teenagers, who last night received the proper treatment and attention at the Vlora Hospital and the Fier Memorial Hospital. Today they are as fit as a fiddle to continue their trip,” Kumbaro said.
