TIRANA, Aug 25 /ATA/-By Maela Marini/ Prime Minister Edi Rama announced on Friday a radical change in the public procurement system in Albania.
During a press conference, Rama said that public procurement system will enter another phase in partnership with the United Nations Procurement Division.
“Even for public procurements, we have started work on leveraging the potential of artificial intelligence, but it is going to take us about 1 year. The procurement system will undergo significant changes, starting with the change in the system of concentrated purchasing and then successively in all the links of the procurement system,” said Rama.
The Prime Minister also focused on the changes in the Cadastre system where, according to him, there are no more counters and doors for people who seek to intervene, people who lived off tricks between the needs of a citizen, the counters and those backstage, notaries and so on,” said Rama.
