TIRANA, Aug 23 /ATA/ Minister of Interior Taulant Balla, through a reaction on social media, warns that there will be zero tolerance for “arrogant violators” of traffic rules.
Posting a video of the traffic police officers ticketing luxury cars and not only for violations, Balla emphasizes that it is not the ticket per se that delights him, but the compliance with the rules aimed at ensuring everyone’s safety.
“Good morning! I will continue to say that as the Minister of Interior, I am not happy about the “successes” of ticketing, but about the citizens’ awareness that the traffic rules must be enforced not because there is a police officer behind the turn or at the traffic lights, but because this is how we protect everyone’s lives. But I believe that I share the same opinion with most of you that the Police should not tolerate “arrogant transgressors” of traffic rules in any case. Follow the examples in this video,” Balla says.
