TIRANA, Aug 20 /ATA/ Revenues in excise collections during the January-July period of this year are reckoned at 31.9 billion ALL.
According to the report on fiscal indicators released by the Ministry of Finance and Economy, excise revenues are estimated at 2.8 billion lek or 9.5% more than in the same period of 2022, as well as 529 million or 1.6% less than the excise plan for 6 month period 2023.
Referring to the report published by the Ministry of Finance and Economy on fiscal indicators, the increase in the import of fuel and cigarettes had a significant positive impact on excise revenue.
59 billion ALL are projected to be collected from the excise tax for 2023.
