TIRANA, August 17/ATA/ Defense Minister Niko Peleshi stated that in the first two weeks of August, there have been extinguished 95 fires.
“During the first two weeks of August, there have been extinguished 95 fires in time, thanks to the quick intervention of the emergency forces, under the coordination of the Civil Protection Agency and the fruitful cooperation with the community”, Peleshi emphasized.
“The improvement of the response system has made it possible for none of these fires to take uncontrolled proportions. While in June-July, there were put out around 212 fires”, explained Peleshi.
“The vigilance of communities, signaling and response in time, were the main factors for the prevention of events that can endanger the lives of citizens and the assets of the country”, concluded Peleshi. /p.s./
