TIRANA, Aug 9 /ATA/ For all emigrants who return home to spend their holidays, voluntary insurance is a good opportunity to make up for gaps in their record in order to qualify for a higher old-age, disability and family pension, according to the contributions paid.
The Minister of Finance and Economy, Delina Ibrahimaj, shared on Wednesday information for citizens interested in this insurance scheme.
“Persons who make voluntary contributions for the current year are entitled to be insured up to the limit of the maximum salary,” said Ibrahimaj.
According to her, the monthly quota of voluntary insurance is currently ALL 8,640.
Meanwhile, for advance payments, a discount is applied depending on the time when the payment is made.
