PRISTINA, Aug 8 /ATA/ – Kosovo’s Defence Minister Armend Mehaj has resigned from the post, official government sources told KosovaPress on Tuesday.
The reasons behind resignation remain unknown.
According to him, this was due to family reasons, for which Mehaj said that he informed Prime Minister Albin Kurti some time ago.
Mehaj, in a post on Facebook, also counted the works that, according to him, were completed during the time he led the Ministry.
Local media reported that Mehaj will be replaced the Colonel of Kosovo Security Force, Ejup Maqedonci.
