TIRANA, Aug 3 /ATA/ The chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, held a meeting with the leadership structures of the Tirana region in the run-up to the National Assembly on September 2, in a bid, as he said, to make the Democratic Party a modern and contemporary force, reach all its potential and confront the most corrupt government in Europe.
In a post on social media, Basha emphasized that “the affair of the incinerators and all the other affairs for which ministers, mayors and deputies have been arrested on charges of corruption, or have left politics for ties to crime, are proof that Edi Rama’s state has fallen into the clutches of the corrupt.”
Therefore, according to him, it is necessary to adopt a legal package against government crime and corruption, removing all obstacles and giving unconditional support to SPAK, both for crackdown on corruption and for seizure of the assets obtained through these affairs.
