TIRANA, July 28 /ATA/ The Democratic Party MP, Jorida Tabaku, brought to attention some of her proposals to liberate the market from monopoly and restore competition.
“If we want to change Albania, we must work towards creating a friendly environment for business and increasing transparency in tenders and contracts. The proposals were nothing more than an attempt to make the switch from monopoly to competitive market, from the kingdom of money laundering to the free market and from preferential strategic investments to strategic investments of real investors that produce economic growth, not suburban washing machines,” she said.
According to Tabaku, today the economy needs competition and equal footing for everyone.
“It’s time to revoke laws that favor those involved in crime and focus on reforms that will change the market sustainably. Because today more than ever, the market needs structural reforms, it needs system change. We need to restore trust in institutions, which has been eroded by corruption, favoritism, preferential laws and the interests of the minority,” she added.
