TIRANA, June 26 /ATA/- Prime Minister Edi Rama has published on social media images of Driloni, which will be a new ecotourism pole in Pogradec and in the region of Korça.
Rama underlines that this summer Driloni will become thanks to the implementation of a transformative super project one of the awe-inspiring destinations for all foreign or local visitors.
The rehabilitation project covering 170 hectares of the park entails investments in infrastructure for bike rides, bird watchtowers, waterways that can be traversed by boats or even environmentally friendly electric vehicles.
The requalification project is being implemented as part of the partnership between the National Agency of Protected Areas and the AADF.
All interventions have been made with the aim of preserving the environment and biodiversity of the area, and will be followed by a management plan.
Once this project is completed, visitors will not only stroll down the pedestrian walkway of Drilon, but through passages and bridges they can go as far as the sources of Drilon and Tushemisht.
