TIRANA, June 14/ATA/ The interest rate for treasury bills fell during the current week’s auction.
The Bank of Albania said that the average yield of these financial instruments further decreased to 3.29%, from 3.44% in the previous auction.
This is the lowest 12-month Treasury yield since August of last year.
In Tuesday’s auction, the total value of the requests reached more than 12.2 billion ALL, from 7.5 billion ALL, which was the amount that the Ministry of Finance and Economy offered.
According to Bank of Albania, the average 12-month yield of the treasury bills has fallen by almost 2.2 % since the beginning of the year and by more than 2.5 % since November 2022, when it also hit the highest level of the last decade ./p.s./
