TIRANA, June 6 /ATA/ The police conducted abrupt checks in the Komani lake, to increase the life safety parameters of tourists and visitors who explore the Komani lake, launching the “Komani” operation, based on the information provided and complaints from tourists and visitors.
The operation carried out by the Shkodra Local Police Directorate, the Vau i Deja Police Station, the Border Police of Shkodra, RIF of Shkodra, in cooperation with the Port Authority of Durrës resulted in seizure of 5 craft boats.
The Police Services, in the follow-up of the action plan drawn up for the purpose of controlling watercraft in Lake Koman, checking their documentation, also based on information provided that there were unsafe watercraft in the lake, they staged the police operation to guarantee the safety of tourists and visitors encoded “Komani.”
As a result, 5 artisan-built boats were blocked and their skippers were fined 10,000 lek each.
