TIRANA, May 16 /ATA/ The Socialist Party thanked on Tuesday for the support in the three municipalities of the Kukës region.
The political leader of the Socialist Party for the Kukës region, Pandeli Majko, presented the winners of the municipalities in the Kukës region on Tuesday during a media briefing at the SP headquarters.
“It is a pleasure to present the winners of the SP, not only for the citizens of our country but also for the emigrants of Kukës and Tropoja, that for the first time in Tropoja and Kukës we won with over 2 thousand votes,” said Majko.
Majko said that “through our campaign we encouraged an entire public opinion to vote for the SP candidates will continue the work for the transformation of Kukës and Tropoja.”
Rexhë Byberi, the winner of local elections in Tropoja expressed his joy at the vote of confidence received from the citizens of Tropoja. “I thank you for your vote and the high appreciation for the work done so far. I guarantee you that we have a long way to go in the next 4 years,” he said.
For his part, Safet Gjici, the winning candidate in Kukës municipality, thanked all the residents of Kukës for the support given in these elections adding that a special thank-you goes out to Kukës emigrants, who came and supported us.
“We have already set Kukës on the path of unstoppable development and we will implement all the projects presented so far in the following years with the support of the government,” said Gjici.
The Kukës region also includes the municipality of Has, which was not won by the SP candidate.
Majko expressed his support for the voters of Has as well.
