TIRANA, May 15/ATA/ After the victory in Tirana, Mayor Erion Veliaj called for unity.
During a television interview, Veliaj said that he will continue working with projects for the development of Tirana.
“Once the result is officially announced at midnight today or after midnight tomorrow, we will hold a rally to thank supporters and extend a call for unity,” he said.
Veliaj assessed that, in general, the campaign went smoothly and there were no excessive debates.
Veliaj emphasized that we will have to immediately start with some new projects such as building of the National Theater.
“We have a lot of works in the 7 lots of the Big Ring Road. We will open a new construction site at Kamza Turn, which is related to the western terminal. And then, we will have a new lot of new schools, mainly in the areas of Astir, Dry Lake and Sauk, to make sure that we finally close the cycle of new schools in Tirana. Next, we want to start with the Botanical Garden. And then, we will focus on the New Boulevard, where there will be located the Supreme Court, the General Prosecutor’s Office, the new City Hall, the Museum of Modern Art and the new fairs’ center”, stated Veliaj.
