PRISTINA, May 15 /ATA/ – The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Administrator Samantha Power told a TV interview on Monday that the European Union is facilitating the dialogue process because of Kosovo’s ultimate destination.
In an exclusive interview for Context political show at Kosovo’s ATV, the USAID Administrator affirmed that the United States of America is a staunch defender of Kosovo’s interest.
“It is appropriate for the EU to lead the dialogue process because of Kosovo’s ultimate destination. U.S. is closely cooperating with Mr. Lajcak and I think it is important for the Kosovo people to know that the U.S. is defender of their interest and is doing so for a long time now. Friendship between our two people is unwavering,” Power said.
