TIRANA, May 14 /ATA/ The Ambassador of the Delegation of the European Union, in Tirana, Christiane Hohmann, from Elbasani appealed to the citizens to elect the local representatives they think will be the right ones in the next 4 years.
“What the citizens will decide throughout Albania is who will be their representatives in the city councils and who will be the mayor, that is, who will represent you in the next four years. So exercise the right you have, the democratic right to elect. The objective should be to choose the best policy that you think will be serve Elbasan,” the ambassador said.
Pressed for the allegations of pressure on voters by the candidate of the “Together we win” coalition in Elbasan, Luciano Boçi, Ambassador Hohmann said that the elections are being observed by a full OSCE team.
