TIRANA, May 8 /ATA/ – The acting chairman of the main opposition Democratic Party Enkelejd Alibeaj reacted Monday for the amount of time for television and radio broadcast allocated for campaigning to the former PM Sali Berisha, saying it suffices to examine the reports on allotment of the broadcast time to political parties for campaigning.
“Sali Berisha spares not a single day to issue slanders against the Democratic Party and the majority of private TV channels, headed by the public broadcaster, have become Berisha’s mouthpiece. It would suffice to carefully examine the reports on observation of the broadcasting time allocated by TV channels and the report clearly shows that the true owner of the majority of the media outlets, Edi Rama has granted broadcasting time to his partners of outdated politics of the persona non-grata,” Alibeaj said in a statement via the social media.
“It is therefore that the desperate screams by Sali Berish and Ilir Meta are being heard more than any other alternatives, because the trio is most interested in suffocating the opposition’s voice and they are bound by their common goal to strongly support and keep one another in the outdated stage of the Albanian politics,” Alibeaj said.
