TIRANA, May 2 /ATA/ – Prime Minister Edi Rama, also leader of the Socialist Party, called on local citizens in Korca on Tuesday to vote Socialist mayoral candidates in the May 14 local elections, saying that SP is the only option and solution for everyone.
“We are the only choice and the only solution for you. There is no other solution,” he told a campaign meeting in the municipality of Devoll.
“Albania is now more respected than ever before in the international arena by our allies and partners and Europe, with everyone acknowledging and recognizing the fact that Albania, although not a rich and very developed country, it is on par with other countries and is highly respected,” he said.
“To all Albanians who plan to support an individual who has been declared persona non-grata by the U.S., and the EU door is closed to him once and for all, I would like to say this: you should realize that this would be shameful,” he added.
