TIRANA, March 16 /ATA/- Mayor of Bulqiza Lefter Alla and 12 other officials were arrested at the request of the Special Prosecutor’s Office against Corruption and Organized Crime, SPAK.
SPAK said today that, in close cooperation with the General Directorate of the State Police, it has conducted investigations in regard to “Violation of equality of participants in public tenders or auctions”, “Abuse of office”, “Forgery of documents”.
“According to the analysis of the investigative actions carried out so far, there is a reasonable suspicion based on evidence that the above-mentioned municipal officials in cooperation with each other have consumed the criminal offense about which they have been charged with”, emphasized SPAK.
“Today, the State Police executed the security measures issued by the Court. Likewise, the Judicial Police carried out controls in several apartments and offices of the investigated subjects and others”, SPAK said./p.s./
