TIRANA, February 16 /ATA/ – “Glad to start my day in Tirana where we will hold the Stabilisation & Association Council with PM Edi Rama”- wrote on Twitter EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell.
”Historically, this is for the 1st time in Albania. This reflects clear commitment to Albania’s EU accession and appreciation for its strategic orientation also on Foreign Policy”, concludes Borrell his remark on Twitter.
Borrell and the European Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement Oliver Varhelyi are visiting Tirana today.
Borrell will meet with Prime Minister Edi Rama before chairing the 12th EU-Albania Stabilization-Association Council in Tirana.
Albania will be represented by Rama, while the European Commission will be represented by the Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement Oliver Varhelyi./ a.jor./p.s./
