TIRANA, March 2 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama stated on Thursday in parliament that if he were aware of any more pieces of information other than what came out in the media about the terrible fact that the Russians were financing the opposition to topple the government, he would have passed it on to partner organizations and the FBI without any doubt.
“My office or me, listen carefully to this because it is very important, all Albanians and the democrats should listen to it, we knew nothing else other than the information published in the media, for if we had more information, why we would have kept it under wraps. For what, to protect Luli? Or to protect Luli’s tutor, because Luli didn’t dare to take the Russian money himself, regardless of what the tutor says that he was oblivious to that,” said Rama.
On the other hand, the Prime Minister emphasized that “if I had more information than what came out in the media, about the terrible fact that the Russians were financing the largest opposition in this country to overthrow the government, I would have passed it on to everyone that I could, without any doubt, from the partner organizations sensitive to these issues and the FBI, definitely.”/m.m/sm/
