TIRANA, March 2 /ATA/ The government has prioritized food safety by following up every link of law enforcement, which also aims to meet the standards for food safety, one the the EU accession- related requirements.
Representatives of the National Food Authority and line experts participated in the next session of Working Group III with a focus on Rural Development and Consumer Protection, in the framework of the National Convention for European Integration 2021-2023.
The main talking points were the challenges of consumer protection in relation to the evolution of artificial intelligence (AI).
The General Director of the National Food Authority, Jeta Deda, in her remarks elaborated on the importance and increased attention to the protection of consumer health, as well as the strengthening of consumer-AKU cooperation.
