TIRANA, February 17 /ATA/ The graduates in engineering, economics, arts, linguistics, translation and other fields will have the opportunity to practice the profession of teacher, after having completed the necessary psycho-pedagogical training, which will be provided by the faculties of education in higher education institutions.
Minister of Education and Sports Evis Kushi provided some of details of the new instruction in the social media.
Kushi invited all universities to submit applications for the approval of the necessary programs, to allow those interested to enroll in the new academic year 2023-2024.
“For years in the pre-university education system, some subjects such as: Economics, Informatics, Arts, Philosophy, Technology, were taught by teachers of other profiles who had not graduated in the field of teaching and who lacked the necessary pedagogical and methodical training. Therefore, having as the primary objective the interest of the students and their right to teaching at high scientific and psycho-pedagogical levels, we have drawn up and approved a new instruction, which enables the teaching profession to be practiced by professionals graduated in different fields, such as engineering, economics, arts, linguistics, translation, etc., but after they have completed the necessary psycho-pedagogical training, which will be provided by the faculties of education in higher education institutions”, emphasized Kushi.
Minister Kushi invited all universities, based on this instruction, to submit applications for the approval of the necessary programs as soon as possible, to give those interested the opportunity to register in the new academic year 2023-2024./k.s/p.s./
