TIRANA, Feb 15 /ATA/ The mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, at the ceremony of kicking off the construction works on the National Culture Centre for Children, also commented on the protest of the opposition in front of the Parliament, describing it as degraded and disappointing.
“Compared to the footage of that protest marred by whistling and screams, building a children’s theater seems like a very serious job,” said Veliaj.
“When you see how adults have degraded, how a part of politics has degraded, today’s conversation about a puppet theater and a children’s theater seems way more important than some of those who pretend to be weighed down with the gravity of seriousness and actually disappoint with those performances,” said Veliaj.
