TIRANA, February 10/ATA/ The lawmakers of the Parliamentary Committee for Economy and Finance held a meeting today with representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in Albania (EBRD), in our country.
The Chairman of the Committee Eduard Shalsi said that the meeting focused on the discussion of the EBRD’s strategic priorities for Albania, and the rich portfolio of projects for our country that include investments in infrastructure, the green economy, as well as support to businesses and financial institutions, simultaneously offering technical assistance through studies and consulting.
“We also discussed the coordination and cooperation of the EBRD with government agencies and other financial institutions operating in Albania, as well as encouraged the need to extend their projects at the local level, helping the municipalities of our cities,” Shalsi said. .
Shalsi assessed as important the continuation of cooperation, to create and support every facility that our role in the committee allows, so that to develop investments for the benefit of our country./p.s./
