Coding programs, entrepreneurial initiatives among young people

TIRANA, Feb 10 /ATA/ Minister of State for Youth and Children, Bora Muzhaqi, and Minister of State for Entrepreneurship Protection, Edona Bilali, participated in a meeting with young people from the city of Shkodra, which focused on the Coding Programs for young people and startups.

In a post on social media, Muzhaqi said that, “during the meeting, the participants were informed about the program and how the training courses help them change the lifestyle and earn more income and why not become young entrepreneurs in Albania.”
“Young people who choose to attend vocational courses, with financial support from the Albanian government, have only one condition. Two years after the end of the course, they must stay in Albania, they can work for international companies, but only online from our country,” underlined Muzhaqi.

According to her, applications for vocational courses are still open.

Minister Bilali, in a post on social media, emphasized that, “the coding program is the most fitting response of the Albanian government to the challenge of new professions and migration.”

Minister Bilali said that, “thanks to the support of the Albanian government, financial support has already been made available for all those interested who want to learn these programs, especially near the professional training centers in the field of computer programming and coding to develop their digital skills , offering specialization in these fields even to individuals without experience in computer science.”
The coding program, in addition to the subsidy, will also provide integration with the labor market, to simplify the interaction between the profiling of young people and the labor market, as well as to enable job offers for young people with wages comparable to the international market, immediately upon completion of the course.
The subsidy from the government goes up to 50% of the cost, while for some more vulnerable categories it goes up to 100%.
