TIRANA, Feb 7 /ATA/ – The Albanian Minister of Economy and Finance Delina Ibrahimaj met with the World Bank Country Director for the Western Balkans, Xiaoqing Yu, and the WB Regional Director for Sustainable Development, Sameh Wahba.
Finance Minister said in a post via the social media that the meeting focused on the common agenda of sustainable development, digitization of the public services, climate changes, energy and agriculture sectors.
“During the meeting, we discussed the common agenda as part of our commitments, with the sustainable development, digital public services, the climate changes, development of energy and agriculture sectors being some of the main topics,” Ibrahimaj said.
“The World Bank, as an important partner, continues to support Albania through financial instruments and technical assistance, in order to address the challenges as efficiently as possible and deliver on investment projects up to the standards,” the Finance Minister said.
