TIRANA, Jan 30 /ATA/ – Desaret Residence, an agritourism hotel located just above the medieval district in the museum city of Berat, a UNESCO world heritage site, is another nice destination for a weekend retreat, Prime Minister Edi Rama said on Monday evening.
Posting a series of pictures showing the hotel, the government head said that Desaret Residence is another popular destination to spend weekends along with families, relatives and friends.
This family business offers perfect hospitality to local and foreign visitors alike.
“A family business launched and ran by Zamira and Ilir, who are seriously committed to provide perfect hospitality for tourists, with comfortable accommodation and tasty traditional delicacies,” Rama said.
The hotel building retains similar characteristic architectural features with old buildings in the surrounding area. This agritourism facility features a whitewashed facade with wooden porch and a stone construction on the ground floor, where this family business originates. After its rehabilitation, the building retains traditional architectural style of Berat area.
