TIRANA, January 22 /ATA/ The Whip of the Parliamentary group of the Socialist Party Taulant Balla stated today that the legal experts of his political force have started work on drafting another penal denouncement addressed to the Special Prosecutor’s Office against Corruption and Organized Crime for finding the perpetrators of the murders that happened on the boulevard on January 21, 2011 during a protest.
In a statement to the media from the SP headquarters, Balla made a chronology of the progress of the judicial process in these years, since the SP made the first denouncement in March 2011.
“Regarding this case and the written and film evidences attached, we have never received any answer or been called even once to give explanations as the accusing party or the injured party, despite our continuous requests”, said Balla.
“As the entire public opinion has been informed, the criminal file for three of the four murders and the decisions of the courts are one of the biggest shames in what was called justice in this country until a few years ago. Suffice it to mention one of the dozens conclusions of the old justice. Although it was confirmed that the weapon of the Republic Guard PZ52778 was used for the killing of Faik Myrtaj, the court considered the murder without a perpetrator”, Balla emphasized.
“In the light of the new facts, the legal experts of the Criminal Law of the Socialist Party have started work since yesterday to draft another penal denouncement to the Prosecutor’s Office Special Against Corruption and Organized Crime.
