PRISHTINA, Jan 19 /ATA/ – Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani welcomed Thursday a European Union resolution supporting Kosovo’s bid to join the European Union.
President Osmani stated that recognition of Kosovo and support for Kosovo’s path to the EU is paramount.
“Most importantly, they have also recognized the escalatory dangers of Serbia’s aggression and destabilizing efforts,” President Osmani said.
Kosovo President took to the social media to share certain paragraphs of the EP resolution, underlining that dialogue should conclude with the mutual recognition of Kosovo and Serbia. The resolution also emphasizes that Kosovo’s independence is irreversible and calls on the five EU member states to recognize Kosovo.
